Cupping/Negative Pressure

When you think of a massage or physical therapy, you probably picture a therapist pushing down on your skin. While that traditional "positive pressure" can feel great, it can sometimes compress sensitive, swollen, or painful tissues.

LymphaTouch changes the game by doing the exact opposite.

Instead of pushing down, LymphaTouch uses gentle, controlled suction (negative pressure / cupping action) to gently lift the skin and underlying tissues upward. Think of it as creating "breathing room" inside your body. By lifting the tissue, it instantly relieves pressure, boosts circulation, and activates your body’s natural healing process.

1. Managing Lymphoedema & Swelling

When you have lymphoedema, cellular waste / fluid gets trapped in your tissues because the body's natural drainage system is sluggish or blocked. If left too long in the tissue this changes them by thickening the tissues.

How it helps:

The gentle lifting action of LymphaTouch acts like a wake-up call for your lymphatic system. It gently stretches and opens up the microscopic doors of your lymph vessels, allowing it to move and flush away.

The Result:

Trapped fluid, proteins, and swelling are easily coaxed into the drainage system. Combined with a gentle, soothing vibration, it helps move fluid away from swollen areas, leaving your limbs feeling lighter and much more comfortable.

2. Softening & Smoothing Scars

Whether from surgery, an accident, or a C-section, scars can become tight, hard, and painful. This happens because the new skin fibers heal in a messy, tangled clump that sticks to the tissue beneath it.

How it helps:

Traditional massage just flattens a scar. LymphaTouch lifts and stretches the scar in multiple directions at once. We use specific rich oils or creams on scars which feed the skin and prevent them from drying out.

The Result:

This gentle pulling breaks up the tangled fibers and unglues the scar from the underlying tissue. Your scar becomes softer, flatter, more flexible, and much less noticeable.

3. Breaking Down Hard Tissue (Fibrosis)

If swelling or inflammation is left untreated for a while, the area can become hard, dense, and woody to the touch. This is called fibrosis, and it can make movement stiff and painful.

How it helps:

Hardened tissue can be tough to treat.  LymphaTouch acts like a deep-tissue release, slowly and carefully lifting and separating the tightly packed, hardened layers.

The Result:

It gently melts away the hardness, letting fresh, oxygen-rich blood flow back into the area. You will notice increased flexibility, less stiffness, and a return to normal, soft tissue.

4. Speeding Up Injury & Surgery Recovery

After a sports injury, fall, or surgery, your body protects itself by flooding the area with fluid. This causes throbbing pain, bruising, and severe swelling that blocks fresh blood from helping you heal.

How it helps:

By lifting the skin away from the injury site, LymphaTouch instantly takes the pressure off your sensitive nerve endings (which cuts down pain) and clears space for fluid to move.

The Result:

  • Less Pain: You feel immediate relief because the tight, throbbing pressure is lifted.
  • Faster Bruise Clearing: It quickly clears away pooled blood and metabolic waste.
  • Quicker Healing: Fresh, healing nutrients can finally reach the injury, getting you back on your feet much faster.
